Autologous Fat Transfer
Autologous fat transfer involves the removal and reinjection of the patient’s own body fat. It is most commonly used to revolumize the aging face but can also be used to enhance and reconstruct breasts or correct surgical or traumatic defects in the skin and soft tissue. Fat is removed through liposuction, often from the abdomen, buttocks or thighs, cleansed and then re-injected into the area being treated.
Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Blepharoplasty can be combined with BOTOX® treatments to raise the eyebrows or reduce the appearance of wrinkles or crow’s feet around the eyes. Eyelid surgery is also often combined with laser skin rejuvenation with CO2 laser or fractional CO2 laser to smooth wrinkles, lighten dark circles and achieve skin tightening.

Torn Earlobe Repair
Torn or stretched earring holes in earlobes can be repaired with a quick in-office procedure performed under local anesthesia. A simple excision of the existing damaged earring hole is done first and then the area is repaired with stitches and a bandage applied. Sutures are removed after 5-7 days and new earring holes can be placed in about 3 months.
Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane can also be used to plump and strengthen aging, sagging earlobes.
Tumescent Liposuction
Tumescent liposuction is a safe outpatient procedure performed to sculpt away unwanted fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise. Dr. Rostan has received fellowship training in the technique of tumescent liposuction, along with additional training from Dr. Jeffery Klein, the developer of the tumescent technique. She has performed hundreds of liposuction procedures over the last 12 years.
