Elisabeth (Ellie) Cruz, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant under the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She received her bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Catherine University in Saint Paul, MN. Prior to joining the Charlotte Skin and Laser team, Ellie practiced medical dermatology in Minnesota. Her favorite part about working in dermatology is building trusting relationships with patients and helping her patients feel happy and healthy in their skin. She believes patient education is an essential component of the treatment plan to provide the best optimal care to patients.
Ellie is a Minnesota native and relocated to Charlotte with her husband and their dog, Letty. She enjoys exploring all that the Charlotte area has to offer, including hiking the beautiful trails, paddle boarding on the lakes and trying new restaurants. Ellie is also an avid traveler and loves to explore new places with her family.

Robyn is our Senior Clinical Nurse and has been an integral part of Charlotte Skin and Laser for more than 20 years. She has a deep passion for cosmetic dermatology and truly embodies our practice motto: “We help you look and feel your best.”
Robyn assists Dr. Rostan with laser, cosmetic, and surgical procedures, and as the practice has grown, so have her professional interests—particularly in partnering with Dr. Rostan on hair-loss consultations. She brings extensive knowledge of lasers and skincare to her daily patient care, and our staff often relies on her as a trusted source of expertise. Robyn is always willing to help and continually enriches our team with her experience and dedication.

Keerstan is our lead aesthetician. She has been licensed for 15 years and has spent the last 13 years working in cosmetic dermatology at Charlotte Skin & Laser. Her extensive knowledge and passion for the skincare industry are what set her apart. This is clearly shown through her work and proven through her high retention rate and loyal client following.
She dedicates many hours to continuing education to ensure that she is informed on the latest technologies, techniques, and skincare ingredients available. Our staff members refer to her as a walking “encyclopedia” of skin knowledge and solutions.
Her specialties include dermaplaning, microneedling, extractions, and acne treatments for teens and adults, and advanced chemical peel applications on patients of all skin types and tones. She believes in consistency and customization to help her patients reach their skincare goals.

Kim comes from an art & fashion background, and entered the skincare industry as her 2nd career in 2020. This shift in focus has given her a unique first-hand view of the power of excellent home care along with in-office treatments, and the improvement that is achievable, even when these begin in middle age.
Kim provides treatments for all patients’ concerns, ranging from acne maintenance to anti-aging. She’s excited to share her understanding of skincare and strives to offer a comprehensive and realistic approach, tailored to each patient’s needs, desires, and budget.

Brooke is a Certified Laser Technician and Licensed Medical Aesthetician with 20 years of experience and a background in psychology and sociology, giving her a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. After completing advanced training at the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics and earning her laser certification from the National Laser Institute, she went on to work alongside top cosmetic dermatologists in Boston, New York City, and Charlotte—experience she credits as the foundation of her expertise. Her commitment to safety, education, and results ensures every patient feels confident, informed, and cared for throughout their treatment journey.
A specialist in nonablative laser resurfacing, Brooke treats concerns such as sun damage, acne, and surgical scars, pigmentation, vascular lesions, tattoos, unwanted hair, rosacea, melasma, and acne using advanced technologies including fractional lasers, IPL, pulsed dye, Q-switch, ndYAG, and RF microneedling. She is known for creating customized, layered treatment plans to achieve optimal results and continually advances her education as a longtime ASLMS member. Outside the office, Brooke enjoys yoga and exploring the outdoors with her dog, Olive.

Katerina Borovskaya is a licensed Medical Aesthetician with over a decade of experience and has been a valued member of Charlotte Skin and Laser since September 2023. Known for her exceptional client satisfaction and loyal following, she brings a holistic approach to skin and body wellness shaped by her background in spa services, national esthetic education, personal training, and nutritional health. A Charlotte native with deep roots in the community, Katerina blends clinical expertise with a thoughtful, whole-body perspective to deliver personalized care.
After expanding her skills in South Carolina, Texas, and California, Katerina returned home to continue advancing her practice. She specializes in advanced laser treatments—including Fraxel, Infini Genius, Tixel, Venus Viva, and IPL—as well as body contouring technologies such as CoolSculpting, Accufit, Venus Legacy, Venus Bliss, and Vanquish. A proud ASLMS member, she remains committed to ongoing education and innovation, believing that consistency and customization are key to achieving optimal results for every client.
