Meet Dr. Alexandra Montgomery
Dr. Alexandra Montgomery is a native Texan, where she received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. She then attended the UT Health Science Center San Antonio Long School of Medicine. During medical school, she was honored with induction into the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Montgomery continued her training in Little Rock, Arkansas where she completed a transitional year of training at Baptist Health UAMS. During her internship year, she received the Faculty Key Award, a distinction awarded by faculty to the resident who most exemplifies exceptional patient care, professionalism, and clinical excellence. She then made her way to North Carolina, where she completed a rigorous, comprehensive dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, receiving extensive training in medical, pediatric, and procedural dermatology.
Following residency, Dr. Montgomery relocated to Charlotte to begin her career at Charlotte Skin & Laser. Her professional interests include medical dermatology, providing comprehensive care for both adults and children, as well as procedural and aesthetic dermatology.
Outside of the office, Dr. Montgomery enjoys exploring Charlotte with her dog, Frankie, and spending time with her close-knit community of friends in the area.
