From our Medical Assistants
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I was offered the unique opportunity to work as a medical assistant at Charlotte Skin and Laser. The providers at CSL taught me hands-on skills that not only helped me apply to Physician Assistant school, but ultimately helped me succeed once I was in my graduate program. I gained such a wide range of knowledge from my time as a medical assistant and truly felt supported on my PA school journey by the entire team at CSL.
Berkley P.
Working as a medical assistant at CSL gave me invaluable hands-on experience with patient care, clinical procedures, and medical documentation. It helped me develop strong communication skills while working closely with patients and providers in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This role deepened my understanding of clinical workflows and strengthened my confidence in providing compassionate, efficient care. These are skills that directly prepared me for the demands of PA school.
